B:TECH company has sold its machinery production division
01.07.2009 | B:TECH has sold its machinery production division to TECHNOCON on January 1st, 2009
The machinery production division is specialized in job-order metal working and unit assembly for machine builders. It employs 21 employees and reaches sales amounting to 25 million Czech crowns. The history of this division dates as far back as to the pre-war time when it was established by Mr. Mahler. Later the plant belonged to the Strojtex company and then was privatized by Mr. Strašil. B:TECH bought this engineering plant in December 2001.
In October 2008 B:TECH decided to concentrate on its core business—electrical engineering. Therefore, the sale of the engineering plant is fully consistent with the present company strategy.
The TECHNOCON, s.r.o. company was established by Mr. Pavel Vaňkát, a former manager of B:TECH, who was managing the company successfully for several years. The new company´s intention is to continue job-order metal working and unit assembly. It plans to expand in the field of designing assemblies, components, and jigs upon order. It considers reopening the manufacture and modernization of controlled-volume pumps that used to be manufactured by the Strojtex company in the past.
“The whole process of the sale from the decision on sale and finding the investor up to undersigning the contract took exactly two months, which was a very short period. It evidences great interest of both parties in completion of this business. I trust that the engineering plant comes under the right hands and that the continuation of the long-term tradition of this company is ensured,” said Ing. Antonín Urban, the managing director.
B:TECH is ranked among leading electrical engineering companies in Bohemia. The company employs more than one hundred professionals who design and install turn-key solutions and provide customized services according to customers´ requirements. For the period of its operation, B:TECH has delivered orders to more than fifty-five countries worldwide. The company was established in May 2000 and operates in the fields of industrial automation, instrumentation and control, weak-current systems, and outsourcing of capacities. In 2008 B:TECH reached sales amounting to 330 million Czech crowns.
TECHNOCON will rank among young and productive companies in the Vysočina Region. The company has been transformed from the Pavel Vaňkát – TechnoCon company. Deliveries have been realized especially in the field of job-order metal working in Bohemia. The sales from the foundation of the company (1.5.2008) have reached 4.2 million Czech crowns.
