PACKAGING LIVE

In the week from 4 to 7 October 2022, the Brno Exhibition Centre will host the International Machinery Fairwhich is one of the most important industrial fairs in Central Europe. As last year, visitors from the professional public can meet us at the Packaging live.

Live demonstrations of robotics and technologies for packaging, labelling, handling and palletising products will be on show in Hall A2. This year, the main role is played by the beer Strakonický dudák. You can also look forward to regular guided tours with commentary.

AUTOMATED PACKAGING LINE

The main theme of this year's event is Industry 4.0 and the digitalisation of production. From the point of view of the circular economy, the fair will also address the management of material resources. One of the points of the rich accompanying programme will be a live presentation of technologies in practice during the entire days of the fair under the title of PACKAGING LIVE.

As part of this exhibition, visitors to the fair will have free access to a presentation of an automatically controlled packaging line that provides secondary packaging of Strakonický Dudák beers in gift boxes. The exhibition will be accompanied by expert commentary at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm. During the tours, participants can take part in a raffle and win prepared packages of Strakonický Dudák beer.

ROBOTIC PALLETISING AND HANDLING

Last year, we developed a simple solution for palletising cartons with the six-axis robot FANUC M20iD/35, which is equipped with KENOS multi-purpose foam suction cups supplied by TECH - CON borrowed. The main advantage of this solution is the flexibility in handling products of different shapes and sizes.

The multi-purpose vacuum cleaner is particularly suitable for handling large quantities of dimensions. Its great advantage is that it can not only hold a wide range of objects, but also pallets and uneven surfaces such as dented doors, cans, KLT, washed tiles, glass, bricks and much more. It is manufactured in different lengths and widths according to customer requirements.

ROBOTIC HANDLING AND PALLETISING

This year, visitors can look forward to a demonstration of robot handling of beer bottles . Their secondary packaging in a carton and subsequent palletisation are prepared. The application will traditionally be based on the integration of FANUC industrial robots, in particular the M-10iD/10L model equipped with a TECH - CON pneumatic gripper. ONDRÁŠEK INK-JET SYSTEM takes care of labelling, Gaben provides intelligent product identification. Our task is to integrate FANUC robots. Other partners such as ZDVIZ Servis and Mátl Bula are involved in the preparation.

AUTOMATED BONDING

Together with the company Kaletech, we will also present an application for adhesive applications. It will be built on the integration of the Fanuc M-10iD/16s robot, which will take care of demonstrating the application of the adhesive to the unfolded box.
